Arabian Steel Industries Technical Advisor

The green future requires a cultural, institutional, and professional transformation. If we consider it under the three frameworks of responsibility — social, academic, and professional — then management and organization can be understood as follows:

  1. Social Responsibility (Community & Society)

    • Role: Creates public awareness, shapes behavior, and mobilizes collective action.
    • Green Future Management:
  • Encourage sustainable consumption and recycling at community levels.
  • Support regulations and incentives for eco-friendly industries.
  • Develop social movements and NGOs to pressure industries and governments.

    • Organizing Tool: Policy frameworks, awareness campaigns, and community engagement platforms.
  1. Academic Responsibility (Universities & Research Centers)
  • Conduct R&D on renewable energy, waste reduction, and green materials.
  • Train students through green-oriented curricula and industrial training.
  • Build partnerships with industries for applied sustainable projects.

    • Organizing Tool: Research clusters, joint academic–industry programs, and open innovation hubs.
  1. Professional Responsibility (Workplaces & Industries)
  • Role: Implements sustainability in practice by embedding it into daily operations and corporate strategies.
  • Green Future Management:

Integration & Governance

For a green future to be managed effectively:

  • Social responsibilitymobilizes demand for change.
  • Academic responsibilityprovides knowledge and innovation.
  • Professional responsibilityexecutes implementation in practice.

Together, they form a triangular governance model:

  • Society sets values and expectations.
  • Academia provides solutions and human capital.
  • Industry/professionals deliver results on the ground.

Summary:

A green future can be organized through a synergy of three responsibilities:

  • Social responsibilityensures culture and awareness.
  • Academic responsibilitybuilds innovation and skills.
  • Professional responsibilitydelivers measurable action.

Only by aligning these three can sustainable development goals be systematically achieved.
