ADNOC Distribution Unveils Region’s Largest Superfast EV Charging Hub on UAE Highways

ADNOC Distribution has announced the launch of the largest superfast electric vehicle (EV) charging hub in the Middle East, Africa and Türkiye, ranking as the sixth largest globally, marking a major milestone in the UAE’s transition toward sustainable mobility.
Located at Saih Shuaib on the E11 highway connecting Abu Dhabi and Dubai, the new EV Megahub features 60 ultra-fast charging points capable of charging most electric vehicles from zero to 80 percent in around 20 minutes.
The site represents a cornerstone of ADNOC Distribution’s long-term strategy to establish a world-class EV charging network across the UAE’s national highways.

The launch comes ahead of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, highlighting ADNOC Group’s commitment to advancing clean energy solutions through innovation and smart infrastructure.
As part of its roadmap, ADNOC Distribution plans to open 20 EV charging hubs by the end of 2027, with 15 expected to be operational by 2026, ensuring seamless long-distance travel for EV users nationwide.
Government officials emphasized that the project supports the UAE’s National Electric Vehicles Policy and the broader goal of reducing energy consumption in the transport sector.
The initiative also aligns with national targets to increase the share of electric vehicles to 50 percent of all cars on UAE roads by 2050.

The EV Megahub is also the first intercity-focused location under “The Hub by ADNOC” concept, integrating EV charging, traditional fueling, lifestyle amenities and a coworking space tailored for commuters.
With its extensive service station network and expanding E2GO charging platform, ADNOC Distribution continues to strengthen its role as a key enabler of sustainable and smart mobility across the UAE.
