As part of ongoing efforts to enhance service quality and customer experience, Sharjah Digital Department, in collaboration with Sharjah City Municipality, has launched the revamped rental services package on the “Aqari” platform under the umbrella of the Digital Sharjah Platform. This strategic move aims to establish a unified and fully integrated real estate ecosystem, positioning “Aqari” as the comprehensive digital destination for the real estate sector in the emirate.
The launch represents a major shift from traditional paper-based procedures and multi-entity processes to a sustainable, fully digital model aligned with the leadership’s vision for adopting advanced technologies. Through close cooperation with all municipalities across the emirate, rental procedures have been unified to enhance transparency, simplify the customer journey for investors and business owners, and improve the efficiency of real estate transactions through full digital integration.
Integrated Digital Services
The platform now offers a comprehensive package of services supported by advanced features, including all types of lease contracts, multiple payment options, and personalized dashboards for each user. Customers can access the platform through the UAE Pass and instantly view property and contract details. Through direct integration with Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority and other relevant entities, all move-in and move-out procedures are now fully digitized, ensuring a seamless, 24/7 user experience.
Tangible Gains
The upgraded system delivers a qualitative leap in automation and operational efficiency. Rental contracts can now be completed through simplified digital steps, from registration to instant issuance. Automation has significantly reduced processing times and eliminated more than 95% of manual renewal procedures compared to the previous system. As a result, customers benefit from faster, more transparent services, alongside measurable savings in time and cost for both investors and business owners.

His Excellency Sheikh Saud bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director General of Sharjah Digital Department and Chairman of the Committee for the Integrated Real Estate Services Platform Project “Aqari,” affirmed that the launch reflects Sharjah’s strong commitment to enhancing government efficiency and adopting innovative digital solutions that elevate the experience of individuals, institutions, and society, while improving quality of life.
