A study with the participation of the Renewable Energy Foundation for Africa in cooperation with the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa.
Emphasizing, in an exclusive interview for the green future platform , on the sidelines of the KEY Renewable Energies Exhibition in the Italian city of Rimini and after his participation in the symposium “ Scaling up sustainable African electrification, for Africa with Africa.”
The symposium aimed to achieve a balance between energy security and sustainability, innovation for a fair energy transition, and de-risk tools to accelerate investments for sustainable electrification.
The Secretary-General also revealed his aspiration to implement the recommendations of the international study and provide any support to study any gaps that may hinder the implementation of the study, the most recent and comprehensive one , along with Electricity Law No. 87 of 2015 approaching its tenth year, as the Egyptian electricity sectors must be liberalized within ten years from the issuance of the electricity new law according to law text.
