Ecomondo 2025.. The Global Think Tank for Ecological Transition in Rimini

From November 4–7, 2025, the Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) will host the 28th edition of Ecomondo at the Rimini Expo Centre — the leading international event dedicated to the green, blue, and circular economy.

More than 350 international buyers from 66 countries are expected, thanks to collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI). Delegations come from across Europe, Asia, and Africa, reaffirming Ecomondo’s global role as a hub for sustainable innovation and business.

A Global Platform for the Green Transition

With strong institutional partnerships, Ecomondo has become a global marketplace connecting innovative green technologies with emerging markets. The event attracts policymakers, researchers, and industry leaders seeking new solutions in waste management, renewable energy, water systems, and digital sustainability.

A Global Conference Program

This year’s program turns Ecomondo into an international think tank, featuring 200 conferences and 800 speakers.
Topics include green finance, climate mitigation, digitalization, eco-design, and circular resource recovery.

Green Economy and Africa in Focus

The General States of the Green Economy, organized by the Foundation for Sustainable Development, will analyze global strategies for the green transition.
Meanwhile, the Africa Green Growth Forum returns for its fifth edition, focusing on sustainable energy access through the Mattei Plan and Mission 300, with strong institutional participation.

Expanding Global Reach

Ecomondo continues its global expansion through editions in Mexico and China, and promotional tours in Egypt, Serbia, and Poland.
