The award was presented during a prestigious ceremony that celebrated distinguished individuals and organizations in the engineering sector.
The honoring ceremony was attended by Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Supreme President of the Hamdan bin Rashid Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences. The event also included honoring Dubai Municipality as an official partner, in an atmosphere that reflected wide appreciation for outstanding efforts contributing to the development of the engineering sector and the promotion of a culture of excellence and innovation.
In this context, the award was received by Engineer Jojimon Sebastian, General Manager of Abu Dhabi Precast, in a scene that reflected the company’s strong position and remarkable presence in the industrial and engineering sector, and confirmed the scale of the institutional efforts that contributed to achieving this prestigious recognition.
At the heart of this achievement, the name of Dr. Heba Mohamed Emam stood out. She is an environmental consultant and expert, and the Manager of the Sustainability and Environment Department at Abu Dhabi Precast in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. She supervised the preparation of the award file and led important efforts that highlighted the company’s experience in sustainability and institutional excellence, which qualified it to win this high-level recognition.
Dr. Heba’s presence in this achievement is considered the result of a professional journey extending for more than 20 years in the field of environmental consultancy and spreading environmental awareness. Her career combines institutional work, scientific expertise, and purposeful community initiatives. This strong professional background was clearly reflected in her ability to present an integrated model linking advanced industrial performance with environmental responsibility, which was one of the strongest elements in the file submitted for the award.

This achievement carries special importance when viewed in the context of Dr. Heba’s rich career, during which she received a series of awards and recognitions in the fields of environment, creativity, and community impact. She won an award in the Mastermind Awards in the UAE in 2023 in the field of creative writing. She also received the UAE Golden Residency under the category of distinguished creatives in media, based on a recommendation from the UAE Ministry of Culture and Youth.
In November 2024, she received the title of Best Content Creator in Resource Conservation, and was honored by His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan Mubarak Al Nahyan during the Second World Conference on Resource Conservation, held in Abu Dhabi. This reflects her influential role in spreading environmental awareness through media and community platforms.
She was also selected as an Environmental Ambassador for the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi, in recognition of her efforts in serving environmental and sustainability issues. In addition, she was chosen as an Environmental Ambassador for the annual Remtech Europe Conference in Italy, one of the leading international conferences specializing in agriculture and environment in Europe. Alongside this, she founded the initiative “My Environment is My Responsibility”, which aims to promote environmental awareness in Abu Dhabi and the Arab world by presenting simple and accessible educational content to different segments of society.

She holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering from Selinus University in Italy, with research focused on the relationship between the circular economy and integrated waste management systems and their role in promoting sustainable development. She also holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences and Industrial Development, specializing in solid waste management, in addition to specialized diplomas in environmental sciences and occupational safety and health engineering, as well as a fellowship from the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health in the United Kingdom (IOSH).
Her distinction is not limited to the academic and professional sides only, but also extends to the research and awareness field. She has published many scientific studies and contributed nearly 200 specialized articles voluntarily in the fields of environment, sustainable development, women’s empowerment, and social responsibility through various media platforms. This made her recognized as one of the most influential Arab figures in the field of social responsibility.
Dr. Heba also gives special attention to modern applications of artificial intelligence in protecting and managing environmental resources. She focuses on developing innovative AI-based solutions for analyzing environmental data, enhancing waste management efficiency, predicting environmental impacts, and reducing carbon emissions, in line with her vision of integrating modern technology with environmental practices for a more sustainable future.
